- In your own words, what do you do at Lippincott?
We’re incredibly lucky that our clients come to us to help them find answers to some of the most interesting questions you can imagine – what does our future look like? What can we do to be really meaningful in people’s lives? It’s my job is to guide the work to combine an immense number of ingredients – organizational, societal, emotional, aesthetic and economic ingredients to name a few – and to apply art, science and intuition to envision what the future could look like and how to get there.
- For you, what makes Lippincott a special place to work?
Our incredible diversity of ideas perspectives, coupled with the energy and passion to make really big things happen.
- Which projects have been the most meaningful to you and why?
We recently helped conceive, build and launch a truly breakthrough business built from the ground up. I’m incredibly proud of what we accomplished, working shoulder-to-shoulder with our client. For me, it represents the magic (and fun) that happens when you start with an open mind and combine great collaboration, fresh thinking, and a shared desire to build something amazing.
Inspiration often comes from unexpected places. It pays to always look up and keep your eyes and mind open.
- Being a Lippincott’er means:
Being able to lead with the head and heart.
- Who are your favorite artists?
Interestingly, I’m actually a keen collector of tribal art where the name of the artist is usually unknown! But in life I tend to admire people who have highly artistic minds combined with other extraordinary talents – James Cameron, Jon Bannenberg, Shigeru Miyamoto and Renzo Piano come to mind.
- Where is your happy place?
On a boat.
