Clemens Schrenk
Partner, Brand and Innovation

Spearheading experience innovation for Lippincott in the APAC region, Clemens pushes past conventional wisdom to pave the way for new work in Singapore.
- Being a Lippincott’er means:
Never compromising on quality. If your output is not genre defining, you go back into the studio and record again.
- For you, what makes Lippincott a special place to work?
My obsession with field research, beautiful typography and good design is not considered pathological at Lippincott.
- If you weren’t in this profession, what would you be?
A producer of electronic dance music, creating musical experiences that make people happy through experimenting with sounds, speed, and emotions.
- What’s your favorite thing about the place you call home?
Although I now live in Singapore, I am originally from Vienna, the center of Europe and a historical melting pot of cultures, values and world class thinking.
- Who do you most want to meet? What would you say to them?
Kieran Hebden, aka Four Tet. How on earth did you put this track together? (Only Human)
- Have you made any significant left turns, u-turns or corkscrews in life?
I grew up studying economics to become an analytics consultant and suppressing my creative side. My turning point was when I met a career coach who insisted that working as a creative within the tech industry would be ‘a thing’ in the future - he was right. Since then, I turned my love for good design into a career.
- What’s your favorite place you’ve traveled to?
Chiang Mai. It showed me how extremes can shape an alternative reality. A destination for digital nomads and an old, storied history - a town of temples and boxing stadia, monks and go-go dancers, bustling markets and oases of calm in the midst of mountains covered by jungle forest.
