Aurelio is a veteran agency writer and creative director with over 30 years of experience working on iconic campaigns for Dove, Victoria’s Secret and American Express.
When he’s not advising clients on brand voice and global advertising campaigns, he can occasionally be found at an easel or on the Yale University Golf Course — his ultimate happy place.
- Which projects have been the most meaningful to you and why?
Helping BD develop their first unified global corporate advertising campaign, and remaining a member of the client’s core campaign team.
- Where do you find your inspiration / source of creativity?
I am both a painter and golfer with a 13 handicap. Two passions that demand creativity, the ability to remedy mistakes, and strokes — the fewer, the better.
Despite technology, humanity remains fragile, flawed, needy, strong, inspiring and maddening, and always hard to figure out.
- What is your favorite book? Why?
Don Quixote by Cervantes. Because.
- What did school actually teach you?
To never stop learning.
