A Toronto native living in Brooklyn, Kate brings the Canadian "sorry" to the Lippincott marketing team while leading its brand building efforts.
For her, New York is a source of inspiration. "My creativity is fueled by the kaleidoscope of scenes I see everyday in this city: from the people and the buildings to the neighborhoods and rivers."
- In your own words, what do you do at Lippincott?
I lead the development and delivery of marketing and communications strategies for Lippincott, helping to elevate our profile in support of broader business and brand goals.
- Who would you change places with for a day?
A gymnast in Cirque du Soleil!
- What’s your favorite thing about the place you call home?
My favorite thing is that the definition is fluid. Home is where you grew up, where you are now and all the connections you form in-between.
- What’s your favorite place you’ve traveled to?
Marfa, Texas. It's magical! The tiny town has beautiful scenery, a quirky character, great food and great art.
- Who has influenced you most in your career? How?
My first boss. She led with humor, was smart, bold, energetic, empathetic and super buttoned up when it came to order and organization. I’ve tried to model my management and working style after her.
