Emma is a brand strategy consultant in Lippincott's New York office.
She specializes in verbal strategy—helping brands use language to craft a clear identity and tell a compelling story.
Emma has particular experience and expertise in naming and naming architecture, brand voice, messaging and positioning. Her clients have included Abbott, Citi, Dealer Tire, InterContinental Hotels Group, ITT Corporation, ITT Exelis, Level 3 Communications, Pfizer Animal Health, Samsung, United Airlines, Vidant Health and Xylem.

Before joining Lippincott, Emma worked in the verbal identity department at Interbrand, where she specialized in naming, naming architecture, brand voice, messaging and positioning. Her experience includes leading global trainings for key communicators and managing product and corporate naming and tagline projects for consumer and B2B brands.
Emma holds a B.A. summa cum laude in creative writing and philosophy from Vanderbilt University (with high honors for her thesis of original poetry, Creature of Excess).
